West Brom Set to sign North Korean Ace? Pak Kwang-ryong could soon be a baggie!

North Korea's state broadcaster KCNA today speculated that one of the DPRK's star international strikers, Pak Kwang-Ryong, could be on his way to join premier league outfit West Bromwich Albion, as gaffer Tony Pulis seeks to bolster his squad for the upcoming season.

Pak, aged 23, plays for Lausanne F.C in the Swiss Super League, where he set an outstanding record last season scoring 5 goals in 5 games. He is the only North Korean player in Europe and would be on signing, the first in the English Premier League.

Manager Tony Pulis was said to rate Pak as an upcoming prospect and sent scouts to Switzerland to watch him play. He was also impressed at the defensive culture of the DPRK, which is said to match his style of play at the baggies.
