VNK News: Hong Kong University Delegation set to Visit North Korea

After extensive effort on promotion and organization, Visit North Korea's first organized trip to North Korea, ran through its tour partner Lupine Travel is set to begin this sunday, giving a number of both local and foreign students a rare and priceless opportunity to witness the world's most secretive country.

Group representative and organizer of the tour on the campus, said: 

"We are delighted at the response and interest shown in this trip by students here at Hong Kong University. The chance to visit North Korea is a unique, thrilling and educational travel experience unlike any other.

The Group will depart from Dandong on Tuesday 8th March to Pyongyang and return on the 12th. In North Korea, they will visit a number of its key sites including the DMZ border with South Korea, the U.S.S Pueblo, the Sinchon Museum of American War Atrocities, the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War museum, Juche tower and many more. 

As tough U.N sanctions are set to go ahead against North Korea on Wednesday morning, the timing will surely make it more topical and interesting than ever.
